Ok, so i got minecraft java. My pc was on windows 7 at the time and it was running perfectly. I then realized that i could upgrade to windows 10 so i did. But now going to windows 10 i cannot play minecraft anymore. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the minecraft folder. The Minecraft Java version does not support controllers while the UWP version has support out of the box with options to customize the controls. Minecraft, when played on a PC, may work best if you play it with a keyboard and mouse but everyone has their own preference when it comes to controlling a game. Play Minecraft Java with Xbox controller.
